This is such a wonderful Waffler. I have had my first for 40 years. It is now just getting ready to be replaced due to just worn out. The non-stick surfaces stay just that if you use a VERY light spray oil between each waffle. Cleaning is a breeze with just mild dish detergent and a dishwashing brush on the interior. Great for at home or camping. Used it during Hurricane Andrew over a gas grill. Works well over an electric or gas stove. Flip after just 1 1/2--2 minutes over medium heat. Crispy outside, tender inside, big pocket waffles.

I was looking for an inexpensive waffler that would still do a great job... and I found it! I used it for the first time this morning and my 2 year old was greatly impressed. I love the fact that I don't have to plug it in and because of this feature, I can take it anywhere I want and plunge it into water when it needs a good scrub. The waffles were beautiful, too! I'm looking forward to checking out all the variations of recipes included in the instructions. I put a little bit of oil on it for the first waffle and neither batch stuck at all! Even my mom's electric waffle maker botches the first waffle. I highly recommend this product.
